About Me.

If you haven't guessed it already my name is Kennidy! A Canadian

girl, that has always dreamed of life outside of her small town

and a chance to escape. 

 

With a Diploma in Photography, some hard core soul searching

and a passion for travel I decided to finally take the plunge back

in 2018 and book a one way ticket to Thailand.

​

After saving up, saying my goodbyes, a backpack and only my

camera for company I set off on my first solo backpacking trip.

Here is where I like to say I truly found myself and the love of

my life, my husband Luca, so you could say it was a two for one deal!

​

From 2018 to now, there has been SO much that has happened in-between. There have been so many adventures and just as many unlucky situations such as a cyclone in Thailand, Hurricane Dorian in The Bahamas and the hell that was Covid.

​

Due to covid we had to relocate multiple times, and put our own dreams on hold just to survive the ordeal together. After living in Italy for a year, we decided to move to Canada to give it a shot.  We have now been settled in Edmonton, AB, Canada for almost 2 years now, living comfortably with our cats Sushi and Eevee but the urge to travel is creeping up again!

 

And after giving our parents multiple heart attacks along the way, wouldn't it be fun to write about it all, and start a blog?

My hopes are that by starting this blog, it may help inspire others to look past the intimidations of the world, difficult circumstances, and see that life has a funny way of guiding you to what is meant to be!

​
